Two more flu related deaths reported in Monroe County.
The new numbers from the Monroe County Health Department show the number of flu deaths this season has risen to 18.
All the victims were age 50 or older. According to the county health department's report ending April 14th, the number of laboratory confirmed cases was over 7,000.
The health department says more than 1,200 people in the county have needed to be hospitalized for the flu.
