Romulus Town Board Approves Revised Zoning Ordinance

Opponents of the proposed trash incinerator in the Seneca County Town of Romulus are applauding a Town Board vote approving a revised zoning ordinance.

The critics of the incinerator project say the new ordinance ensures the Town has laws that clearly prohibit certain types of dirty industries.  And they say the amendments reaffirm the community’s opposition to the incinerator proposal.

Rochester-based developer Circular enerG wants to build the trash to energy incinerator at the former Seneca Army Depot.
