Changes at the Greater Rochester International Airport have begun as part of the renovation project.
The upper level road for departing flights is closed until fall. All departing passengers will have to share the lower-level pickup area. One lane of that will also be closed, forcing all traffic to use the remaining lane. Valet parking will not be available.
This is so construction crews can start building the new terminal canopy.
