A man charged in an Ontario County homicide last September has turned down a plea deal and is set for trial later this year.
Robert Clegg is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Nicholas Bice at Bice's Camelot Square apartment. Clegg is also facing charges for allegedly robbing Bice and setting the apartment on fire.
Bice's body was found by firefighters responding to the fire. Prosecutors say he was killed by blunt force trauma. A pretrial hearing on Clegg's statements to police is set for April 19.
