A fourteenth person has died from the flu in Monroe County. According to the Democrat & Chronicle, the person was in the 75 to 84 age group. It brings the total of deaths this season to 14. That is one more than last season and double the deaths for the 2015-2016 season. According to the Monroe County Department of Public Health, there have been 5,913 cases of the flu this season.
