A woman suspected of failing to register as a sex offender is now in custody after a police chase through two counties.
Ontario County sheriff's deputies say Lamarr Berry was spotted driving in Geneva and tried to getaway through the city at speeds up to 60 miles an hour. Authorities say she nearly hit a pedestrian, then headed south to Yates County -- where deputies stopped her vehicle with stop sticks.
Berry is charged with failure to register as a sex offender and vehicle pursuit. More charges are pending.
