Today's funeral for NY Congresswoman Louise Slaughter brought a who's who of Democratic dignitaries.
Former New York Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke at the funeral. Former President Bill Clinton, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Georgia Congressman John Lewis also attended.
Doors opened at 10 am. Seating in Kodak Hall is about 2,300. A total of about 666 seats for overflow in Kilbourn Hall and Hatch Recital Hall.
There was tight security at the door, including bag searches.
