The Town of Irondequoit will hold a public hearing tonight on a proposal to reduce the speed limit on most roads in the town to 30 miles per hour.
The limit near schools would be lowered to 25, and the limit within school zones would be reduced to 20.
Student Michael Lynch was struck and killed walking to school on Cooper Road last March.
