Rochester Police say three people are in custody following a carjacking on the west side.
It happened around midnight when a cab driver arrived at Falmouth and Belknap streets to pick up a fare and was met by people who pointed a gun at him and stole his cab.
Police spotted the cab a mile away and tailed it as it crashed into a parked car at Campbell and Whitney. The car thieves were caught after a foot chase.
