Charges Dropped Against Churchville Mother Whose Son Died of Overdose

Charges have been dropped against the Churchville mother charged with second degree manslaughter after her son ate a fatal dose of fentanyl.

Authorities said 10-year-old J'Vieon Grayson-Sutton found the drug in the family's apartment on Fitch Street and was later found unconscious by his younger brother last June.

His mother, Dolfona Grayson and her boyfriend, Walter Morse, were both charged with manslaughter.

The judge ruled that there was insufficient evidence to charge Grayson with manslaughter, and the charge was dropped.
