Closing arguments start today in the trial of Governor Cuomo's most trusted confidante and two Syracuse developers.
The defense wrapped up two days of testimony yesterday. Prosecutors took a month to make their case that Cuomo-aide Joseph Percoco had accepted bribes from developers Steven Aiello and Joseph Girardi.
Prosecutors say that one of the bribes was for $35,000 to skirt using union labor at their Syracuse hotel project.
Meantime, the federal judge presiding over the case has dropped an extortion charge against Percoco.
