The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating three people who are wanted for questioning in connection with an investigation into the use of counterfeit money at area stores.
Authorities say fake 100 dollar bills have been popping up at Wegmans, Parkleigh Pharmacy and Bed Bath and Beyond.
The sheriff's office says three other people were arrested last month in connection with this investigation -- which is a joint effort between Brighton Police, United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies.
Below are photos of the three wanted for questioning. Anyone with information should contact 585-753-4466.
