The Monroe County Legislature has approved three major agreements -- the new stadium lease deal with the Red Wings and the new labor agreements with jail deputies and airport firefighters.
Under the 10-year lease deal, the Red Wings will pay $100,000 in annual rent and the county will make upgrades at Frontier Field.
The 450 deputies will get annual raises averaging 1.5 percent for five years. The nearly two-dozen firefighters will get raises averaging 1.4 percent.
