A man is dead after a house fire on Hooker Street in the City of Rochester. According to the Rochester Fire Department, firefighters were called to around 7:08 p.m. on Tuesday. Investigators said they found two people on the first floor and a man on the second floor bathroom floor. The man from the second floor was pulled from the home and taken to the hospital, where he later died. The other two adults were not injured. The arson task force is on the scene and the Rochester Police Department is aiding in the investigation. According to investigators, there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
