An RIT student and her father have been arrested in the death of the woman's mother last year in Corning. Police and the FBI served search warrants at addresses in Syracuse and in North Brunswick, New Jersey. They arrested RIT senior Kerrie Neurater and her father, Lloyd Neurater on second-degree murder charges. Corning Police say Lloyd Neurater's ex-wife, 46-year-old Michele, was found dead at her apartment in Corning in August. The death was reportedly made to look like a suicide. Investigators said Michele Neurater may have been strangled.
