The Perinton Conservation Board is expected to hear tonight from Waste Management about the High Acres Landfill.
People living nearby have complained about odors, and the Fairport Central School District says the odors are compromising the learning environment at nearby schools.
Fairport's Superintendent Brett Provenzano said in a letter to parents last week he has discussed the issue with the company and the town supervisor. Perinton's contract with Waste Management is due for renegotiation later this year.
