A report will be released on Thursday from the independent commission looking at how the University of Rochester handled a sexual harassment complaint against one of its professors. The results of the investigation will be released to all parties online, followed by a news conference on the UR campus with the commission and chief investigator Mary Jo White. The committee was appointed in September to review the complaint filed against the university with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. That complaint was filed by a number of graduate students and faculty members who claimed they had been subjected to sexual harassment by Professor Florian Jaeger, and had been retaliated against when they complained about his conduct to university officials. White was authorized to investigate those claims and any other related matters her probe might turn up.
