Mount Morris Woman Charged In Connection With Violent Robbery

A Mount Morris woman has been arrested and charged in a violent robbery in Castile.

Deputies say Zoraida Rodiguez and other people lured a farm worker out of his home, beat and pistol whipped him, then took his money and cell phone.

Authorities say the robbers drove him around for about 30 minutes. He escaped and ran into a field when they stopped along the road in Nunda.

Rodiguez is being held on a quarter million dollars bail on charges of robbery, assault and kidnapping.

Investigators are still trying to learn the names of the accomplices.
