Former Rochester Postal Worker Sentenced For Stealing Cell Phones

A former Rochester postal worker has been sentenced to 3 months in jail and a year of probation for stealing cell phones from the mail.

Bobby Bullard, Jr., was convicted of theft by a government employee. He worked as a mail handler at the processing and distribution center.

Prosecutors say he was seen rifling through packages and removing packages containing smart phones from the sorting conveyor belt.

Agents saw him remove the phones and put them in his pocket.
