Michael Stagles has been formally sentenced to one-and-one-third to four years in prison for negligent homicide in the death last year of his 3-year-old daughter, Brook.
He admitted failing to get medical help for Brook soon after his girlfriend -- Erica Bell -- punched her in the abdomen.
The blow ruptured the girl's intestine.
Bell was sentenced last month to 25 years to life for her murder and manslaughter convictions.
