Plans are in the works for a big trash incinerator at the former Seneca Army Depot in Seneca County.
It would burn up to 2,600 tons of trash each day and generate electricity. A company controlled by Rochester developer David Flaum owns the site. And new company in Rochester called Circular ener-G is proposing the project.
The company has submitted the proposal to the Romulus Town Board but has not submitted a permit application to the state.
