Driver Charged In Death of Pedestrian

Rochester, NY -- Rochester police say the driver involved in a fatal pedestrian crash early Monday morning has been booked on a vehicular manslaughter charge.

Michael Roderiques,, 27, of Irondequoit, is also charged with DWI. 

The pedestrian was struck on Atlantic Avenue, near East High School, around 2 a.m. Monday. 

Roderiques pleaded not guilty Tuesday.

According to 13 WHAM, court records show Roderiques was previously convicted of Driving While Ability Impaired in July 2016.
