A bridge in Orleans County is shutting down today for repairs.
The bridge carrying Knowlesville Road over the Erie Canal in the town of Ridgeway is expected to reopen by the end of February.
Work to fix the steel beams carrying the bridge over the Canal is scheduled to begin on November 27.
The truss-style movable bridge was built in 1910. More than 1,000 vehicles use it each day.
