A Wayland teenager is due in court tomorrow on charges he tried to injure a state trooper who intervened in a domestic assault on Sunday.
Police say 16-year-old Geoffery Burnett threw a knife at the trooper, striking him in the arm.
The trooper was not injured. Burnett was arrested after a brief struggle and charged with attempted assault, resisting arrest, and weapon and mischief charges.
