A ban on drones around New Era Field in Orchard Park is on hold.
The Orchard Park Town Council voted to repeal the drone ordinance after learning it didn't have the authority to regulate airspace around New Era Field.
Council members are working to craft a new law that will allow them to enforce when and where the unmanned aircraft can take off and land.
