Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says yesterday's gun buyback event in Rochester netted 128 firearms.
Folks who turned in guns got gift cards that were purchased by Schneiderman's office with criminal forefeiture funds.
The guns collected include 3 Assault Weapons; 60 Handguns; 29 Rifles; 19 Shot guns; and 17 non-working guns. The guns bring to more than 1,500 the number of guns collected by Schneiderman's gun buybacks statewide since 2013.
