Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio is back in the news. A source in the criminal justice system says that Astacio is facing yet another probation violation. Last week, Astacio's new lawyer filed a court motion asking that she be re-sentenced for her DWI conviction.Attorney Gregory Salmon believes Astacio met the terms of her original conditional discharge, and her probation should end.She is scheduled to appear before the judge handling her case, on Monday.
