It's looking like it could be a messy winter in Rochester. Yesterday, forecasters said there's a chance the weather phenomenon known as La Nina could form, causing warmer but wetter weather across western New York this winter. Lake effect snow totals could be high this year for Rochester and other areas along Lake Ontario.
