A Rochester man is going on trial for murder in the deaths last year of his estranged wife and 18-year-old daughter.
Patrick Brooks is accused of killing his wife Christie and daughter Victoria at their home on Wellington Street the day after Thanksgiving.
Court records say the women were stabbed to death. Victoria was home for the holiday weekend from Canisius College -- where she was a freshman.
Brooks had been paroled on a robbery conviction two months before the killings. Jury selection for the trial continues today.
