Holley Man Who Overdosed Before Crash Indicted

A Holley man has been indicted by a Monroe County Grand Jury as the result of a crash in the Town of Sweden that sent three people to the hospital. Jason Thompson, 39, was indicted on charges of vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated, driving while high on drugs, leaving the scene of an accident and more. Thompson was arrested in May after he was found unconscious in his pickup truck following the crash. It took two doses of Narcan to revive him. Deputies said Thompson’s truck bumped into two other vehicles from behind as it drove north on Lake Road, then swerved into the wrong lane and crashed into a family’s car.
