Fairport, NY -- Fairport police are investigating the fatal shooting of two people at 19 Williamsburg Drive. The bodies were found in the backyard before dawn after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots.
Police aren't giving names or ages of the deceased, but say they lived at the address.
Police say it's too soon to say if it's a murder suicide investigation, but they are telling area residents and nearby schools they are not at risk.
Investigators from the Monroe County sheriff's office are assisting Fairport police.
