Laura Rideout and her sons Alex and Colin have filed court motions to have their recent convictions thrown out. They claim they should have had separate trials for the murder of husband and father, Craig Rideout, last year. The motions claim the trial judge was wrong to deny a change of venue request and wrong to deny a motion to suppress some evidence. Laura and Colin Rideout were both found guilty of murder and tampering with evidence Alex Rideout was found guilty of tampering with evidence. All three are scheduled to be sentenced a week from Friday. Paul Tucci, Laura Rideout's boyfriend was found not guilty.
