Students at Monroe Community College are outraged over a tweet that implied slavery would be re-instituted under President Donald Trump. The tweet was sent from a student's Twitter account and the college was notified.
The school has not taken disciplinary action against the student, but does plan to organize a meeting between the student and the school's diversity officer to discuss the impact social media can have on other people. The student could not be reached for comment and his Twitter account is private.
