Attorneys for a Livingston County woman charged in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend are fighting to prevent some evidence from being used at her trial. According to 13 WHAM, attorneys for Danielle Allen argue in court motions there were problems with the search warrant that found 55 pieces of evidence, many of which are stained with blood. The defense wants to block prosecutors from using statements Allen made to police at a hospital while she was under the influence of alcohol and a painkiller. According to court documents, Allen had BAC nearly three times the legal limit. Allen is charged with manslaughter in the death last November of Marcus Postell at Allen's home in York.
