Driver Ticketed for Hitting DOT Help Truck on Route 104 in Irondequoit

State police are giving details of the crashes that snarled traffic this morning on Westbound 104 near Goodman Street.

Troopers say they and the state transportation department Help Truck had gone there for a one-car crash blocking the left lane, when a driver failed to slow down and rear-ended the Help Truck.

The Help Truck driver wasn't hurt. The driver of the other vehicle, Desi Floyd of Rochester, was treated for a hand-injury and was ticketed for violating the Move Over Law and unsafe speed.
