A 14-year-old died after being hit by a vehicle in Geneseo on Thursday. Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says she was struck by a vehicle while jogging with a friend along Route 39 near Nations Road. Dougherty says the driver is cooperating with investigators. The road was closed for several hours while deputies and technicians examined the accident scene. The girl was a 9th grader at Geneseo High School. Her name is expected to be released today. No charges have been filed at this time.
