Police in Gates say they had to revive a driver with overdose-reversal medication after a crash.
Police say the man crashed into a wire from a utility pole on Buffalo Road. Police revived him with Narcan and charged him with driving while under the influence of drugs.
Gates police say the man was a parolee and was not wearing an ankle bracelet.
The crash knocked out power to about three-thousand homes in the area.
