A ten-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a car in Pembroke.
Genesee County Sheriff's deputies say the boy ran across Route 77 yesterday evening and was hit by a car.
The driver began to drive away -- reportedly not knowing he'd hit a child -- but returned to the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The child was flown to the hospital for serious injuries. It appears no charges will be filed.
