Hamlin, NY -- The Monroe County Sheriff's office says the man operating the boat that crashed in Hamlin around 9:30 Monday night has been charged with Boating While Intoxicated.
Operator Matthew Trippi wasn't hurt when the boat crashed into a jetty. A woman was thrown into the water, and Trippi and two other women jumped overboard as the boat started to sink.
Two of the women were sent to the hospital.
