Here in Western New York, we will see only a partial eclipse.
The moon will appear to block out nearly three-quarters of the sun. The peak time is 2:35 p.m. and most of area should not have many clouds.
There will be several viewing parties for the eclipse in the Rochester area, including at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. The museum had some more eclipse glasses there this morning, but now that supply is gone.
