The number of horse deaths at the Saratoga Racetrack this year has reached a record number.
On Saturday, the 17th horse died this year while training at the track. This brings the equestrian death toll to its highest since the New York State Gaming Commission started keeping track.
The record had been 16 and there's still a couple of weeks before the Saratoga Racing Meet ends.
