A Livingston County man is heading to prison for ten years for throwing his 5-month-old baby boy against a wall. Matthew Sackett, 23, of Springwater pleaded guilty in June to assault charges and was sentenced yesterday. As part of his plea deal, he can have no contact with the boy for eight years. Sackett was arrested in February. The baby suffered broken ribs and skull fractures.
