General Electric says it plans to close its plant in Rochester. The facility employs 100 people. They were notified on Tuesday. GE did not say exactly how many workers would be impacted. According to 13WHAM, a company spokesperson said manufacturing work currently performed there will be transferred to one of GE's suppliers. GE did not say when they expected the plant to close.
