Shooting Injures Man on Rochester's West Side

Rochester police are investigating a west side shooting overnight that wounded a city man.

The man was found around 1:45 a.m. in the roadway on Caffery Place -- a dead-end street off of Clifton Street. Officers say he was shot at least once, and his wounds are considered life-threatening.

Police say it's possible the man may have been shot on Adams Street and ran to Caffery Place before he collapsed.
