The Town of Victor has scheduled an initial public meeting to work on a plan to ease traffic congestion along Route 96. The town is in the process of identifying specific improvements for a six-mile stretch of the road -- and sources of funding for them. Officials hope to have a plan ready by the end of the year for an environmental review, which could be complete next spring. The meeting is set for Thursday evening, August 3, at the Victor Town Hall on East Main Street.
