The Monroe County Fair is moving again.
After four years at Northampton Park in Spencerport, the fair will now be held at the former Monroe 1 BOCES Campus on East River Road in Rush.
The 217 acres of farm land was transferred to town ownership in 2011 after declining enrollment led BOCES to close its Rush campus.
Town officials signed a ten-year lease with the fair organizers this week. According to their web page, this year's fair will be held at the new site at 6565 East River Road August 4th through the 6th.
