The state has reportedly suspended the license of a Rochester child care center. News 10 NBC reports the Childfirst Network location on South Avenue has a sign on its door saying it is closed for child care today. Child care at the East Main Street location is apparently unaffected -- and the SMILE, EI and LEAP programs on South Avenue are running. The TV station says the license suspension was announced yesterday and the center has several unresolved violations dating back to February.
