Arrest Made In Connection With Rochester Homicide

An arrest has been made in connection with a Rochester homicide investigation. 

Rochester Police say 47-year-old Jerry Jones has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of 56-year-old Stanley Ksionzyk.  Ksionzyk’s body was found in the backyard of a home at 675 Maple Street on July 8th. 

Authorities say Jones, who was a person of interest in their investigation, was already in custody.

He had been taken into custody on July 9th, after being charged with criminal contempt for violating an order of protected issued against him ordering him to stay away from the residence of 675 Maple Street. 

 Jones will be arraigned tomorrow morning.
