The state is spending more than $18 million to pave and repair 130 lane miles of state roads across the Rochester-Finger Lakes region this summer and fall.
The funds are part of more than $400 million for pavement improvements on nearly 1,700 miles of roads statewide.
Among the many local projects, work is planned along 590 in Brighton and Henrietta, Lake Ontario Parkway in Parma and Hamlin; and parts of Routes 5 and 20 in Ontario and Seneca counties.
The Cuomo administration says the projects have been designed to minimize traffic impacts.
