Word today jailed Rochester Judge Leticia Astacio has fired her lawyer, Ed Fiandach. Several news outlets report that Fiandach is no longer representing Astacio.
Astacio is behind bars until at least late next week for violating a condition of DWI sentence.
Astacio's sister sent a text to Fiandach several weeks ago telling him he was fired, but Astacio wanted him to continue as her lawyer.
